This course is aimed at people that do not have an electrical background but need to know basic information in relation to Electrical Equipment installed in Hazardous areas along with the basic classification process and discussing basic protection provided with the electrical equipment.

It can also be looked at as a precursor to sitting the full Installation, maintain, testing and Inspection course

Brad has over 30 years in heavy industry with the last 10 being spent in exclusively in hazardous areas varying from on shore, offshore gas rigs and plants, underground and surface coal mines and different types of industrial combustible dust atmospheres in the areas of installation, Inspection, auditing (Hazardous Area Auditor with the Electrical Safety Office Qld.) planning, design, CAD development, and Hazardous Area classification.

Time has been spent as an OHSE advisor which led to a training role developing and running courses from basic material including inductions and first aid up to most competencies throughout the EEHA field.

Brad has travelled Australia and the world for some of the biggest players in the industry in the above roles.
